Wave of color change for Gatineau?

The Gatineau Olympiques will reconnect with the colors they wore when they raised the first of their seven bowls of the President in 1985-1986. As in the days when Luc Robitaille, Guy Rouleau and Joe Foglietta rampant to build winning tradition of the Hull Olympiques, the next generation of Pageau Jean-Gabriel, Raphael and Mathieu Gagnon Lafontaine will wear the gray, silver and Black next September.

Sea Dogs to open up new season VS NB rivals

The 2011 Memorial cup champions have barely had time to let it all sink in .. And they know who they will open there 2011-12 season against.

On Thursday, September 8th 2011 Harbour Station will most likely be sold out, not because of the sea dogs raising there championship banners because the team has announced it will not be doing that until October 29th, The game is against one of the most hated teams in Sea Dog fans eyes.

If you have not already figured it out, The first QMJHL game of the season will be another chapter of the "Battle of New Brunswick". Saint John VS Moncton. Dogs VS Cats. Use any term you want to, but one thing is for sure. The first battle of the year between the two most recent QMJHL champions will be nothing short of fantastic.

Although no championship banners will fly, The team has announced there will be a pre-game ceremony allowing fans to get one last look at the presidents and memorial cup before they have to send them back to there league offices. Fans will also be able to get there photo taken with both of the cups.

Last year was another year of firsts for the newest New Brunswick based QMJHL team, and there hoping this will be a year of seconds ...
